Meet the Captain of the Lexianna

Captain Rich Mogel, known around the docks as “Captain Stingray”, holds a United States Coast Guard Master’s License. He is also a member of the Maryland Charter Boat Association. Captain Rich is a second generation captain and has been fishing the Chesapeake Bay for over 25 years. On his “days off” when he is not running the Lexianna he fishes for Rockfish, Bluefish, Croaker, Flounder, Black Drum, Spanish Mackerel, Perch, and Spot with other captains to stay current on all of the “hotspots”.

You can rest assured that Captain Rich will do everything within his power to ensure that your party has a great time. He is always willing to go the extra mile when necessary to catch fish.

We also are fortunate enough to have Captain Rich’s son, Steven (Little Stingray), on our team as well. Steven will be in his 3rd year as a full-time mate during the summer months. He has been fishing the Chesapeake Bay with his father and grandfather ever since he was able to hold a fishing rod.
